About me

I'm Eleni Chaidou, a licensed psychologist (licence no. 107918/2279) and systemic psychotherapist.

I studied Psychology at the University of Crete and hold a Master's degree in Addiction Studies – Treatment of Addiction from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

I have completed four years of training in Systemic Psychotherapy and Counselling at the "Rodakino" Laboratory of Systemic Psychology and Pedagogy. The programme combined theory and experiential work in systemic theory and its use in therapy with supervised clinical practice.

I have also trained in psychotherapy and counselling for LGBTQI+ people through the Orlando LGBT+ training programme.

Framed degrees and the licence to practise on the office wall, above a small bookcase.

How I work

I offer individual psychotherapy for adults, children and teenagers, as well as couples and family therapy. Above all, I aim to build a therapeutic relationship grounded in safety, acceptance, collaboration and respect for each person's own story and path.

My approach is rooted in systemic psychotherapy. It pays attention to relationships, to the wider context of our lives, and to the ways we make sense of our experiences and shape our life stories together with others.

Alongside my practice, I keep developing my knowledge and skills through ongoing training, professional development and supervision.
